Christmas at Oxford Castle

We spent the day shopping at Oxford Castle's Christmas Market. This year the German-Style Christmas Market includes about 20+ wooden stalls selling mostly handmade and fair-trade products and seasonal local food. The varieties were mostly from Germany, France and Nepal.

We bought Little Havoc a wooly hat and a horse-glow-light-decor for his bedroom. We also bought a special Christmas Pudding for our family in France. Yes! this year we will be spending our Christmas Holiday in the south town of Albi.

Some products are really pricey though, the wooly hats start from £8 (normally £3 in the normal shops), vanity decors like small jewelry box start from £10 and wooly bags ranges from £80-£200! Kind a bit pricey but well they don't come around often, so okay... =)

We really had a nice day roaming around the Christmas Market and the beautiful faces and smiles of choirs singing Christmas Carols, and the aroma of mulled wine and cinnamon drifting in the air create a magical atmosphere that get the us/people into the festive spirit.
